Mike Carli takes his role as a leader seriously. He believes that only by treating each person with respect will a company be successful. As president of Allegiant Fire Protection, he practices this each day with clients as well as team members.
Prior to Allegiant Fire Protection’s launch in January 2018, Mike spent 11 years with Valley Fire Protection Services. Mike started out as an inspection technician and then went on to manage both the Inspection and Fire Alarm departments. Mike holds a NICET Level 3 certification in water-based systems as well as a NAFED portable fire extinguisher certification.
Beyond the office, Mike transfers his passion to family and sports. After an early morning workout, Mike says that spending time with his three boys – likely playing basketball, golf or some other sport – is his idea of a “perfect” day. Mike and his family are Geneva residents.
When asked to share a favorite quotation, his passion for leading and doing things right is front and center. Mike particularly likes this quote:
“Train people well enough that they can leave. Treat them well enough so they don’t want to.” ~ Richard Branson
Jill Nottke thrives by treating each customer as if it were the only customer. Having spent ten years in account management roles, this philosophy serves her well. As the vice president of sales, Jill teaches her team to respond quickly to client requests. Being in the life safety business, Jill stresses the need to be extra diligent in answering questions quickly.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Aurora University, Jill worked at several Chicago area businesses; first, as a manager’s assistant, then moving into account management roles. Prior to becoming vice president of sales at Allegiant Fire Protection, Jill was a senior account manager at Valley Fire Protection Services.
Jill is an active member of the suburban chapter of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association). She enjoys volunteering and is a member of the board of directors for Between Friends Food Pantry in Sugar Grove.
Along with her husband, animals play an important role in her daily life. She’s shown American Saddlebred horses competitively since age seven. Jill and her husband, along with their two dogs, live in Elburn.
Jill’s favorite quotation is from H. Jackson Brown, Jr., “The best preparation for tomorrow is to do your best today.”
Jim started in the industry 2011 at an entry level position and has worked his way to being a field technician supervisor. In his personal time, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, wife and 3 daughters. Jim is also an avid Chicago sports fan and enjoys watching them play in his spare time.
As an Inspection Supervisor, Brandon strongly believes that knowledge and professionalism in the fire and life safety industry are some of the most important keys to a successful inspection department. Brandon started his career in fire protection 18 years ago and has worked with a few different fire sprinkler companies in Illinois before joining Allegiant when it was first started. In his years in the industry he has received his NICET level 3 in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems and his NICET level 2 in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems, and is licensed to perform fire sprinkler system testing in the state of Wisconsin. Outside of work he enjoys going fishing and spending time with his wife and son and hopefully when he is old enough will teach his son the joys of the outdoors and fishing.
